Great results at the all-womens Santa Cruz Mermaid Triathlon on the 28th of September at beautiful Seacliff Beach in Aptos, California. Heather Rozario (on the right in the photo) came in 12th overall and 2nd in her age group in her first full season in the sport. Aimee Escalante (left) won the 30+ age group and finished 2nd overall in the inaugural Mighty Mermaid event. Her win at the double distance event was set up by a killer bike split. Great job ladies!
